Give slow and stuck orders a clear human follow-up instead of another forgotten dashboard number.
A growing store can accumulate old Processing orders, On-hold cases and failed payments while the next action sits in messages or someone's head.
This project is for woocommerce store owners and operations teams. The aim is to make the next decision visible to the people doing the work.
An order has remained Processing for three days. The store sees a dispatch follow-up, asks the warehouse for an update, records who will act next and when, and keeps the internal note with the order. A resolved note does not hide the order while its WooCommerce status still needs attention.
I designed and implemented this independent prototype to explore the business workflow and its technical constraints. Installable WooCommerce plugin using order APIs and metadata, HPOS compatibility, permission checks and tests. The repository explains how to run its real implementation and tests. Download the plugin package above to install it in a disposable WordPress site first.
Open the interactive browser demo to understand the workflow. Read the source and README for installation, local testing and implementation details. The plugin needs WordPress and WooCommerce with sample orders.
The Pages queue is a fictional walkthrough. The plugin needs WordPress and WooCommerce; it does not fulfil orders, change payments or message customers. No customer outcomes have been measured for this independent demonstration.
Try the plugin in a disposable WooCommerce store with sample orders and compare the queue to the staff's existing follow-up routine. There is no fee or obligation to adopt a product. Any work involving real data or a production deployment would need a separate scope and appropriate safeguards.
